One of my domains, globalise.com, registered at NameScout, has just been removed from my account and the zone file. This domain does not expire until 8 Aug 2003, and is registered under my legal Australian business name.
NameScout's whois server is not responding either..
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers,
Chris.
If have heard this happen to some registrars, but never namescout. With StarGate the regestery goes down so the records get "lost" for hours at a time.
Give it an hour or to, try again. If it's still not there contact support. There are many reasons this can happen, most of them temporary.
www.InterNIC.com - check the whoIs here - just to make sure your domain is not available or deleted etc.
Definitely missing from the zone file.
Get in touch woth namescout urgently.
If you originally got the name via Snapnames, get in touch with them as well!
Arg, it's not looking good.. I've emailed NameScout, but no reply yet.
Drew, I originally did get the name from SnapNames, back in the days when you got 2 years registration. I know it doesn't expire until August 2003.
Last night globalise.org was available, now it's not.
I think I've just been screwed.
my domain at namescout show the same thing. so i think it's technical error. be cool.
Hahaha yes, the price is a bit steep.. I transfer my domains when renewal time comes..Originally posted by NameGuy
it's still registered at namescout. I don't think you have anything to worry about - at least until that $50 per 2 year renewal fee hits you anyway.
