Here's the actual decision:

Vidi, Vici, Veni!
It brings into question NAF's neutrality when they issue press releases after decisions. See:

They don't issue press releases after ALL decisions.

That's funny. Isnt there a clause somewhere about politicians NOT being able to challenge their names?
I'll try to dig up the linkis, but I know I had seens several links soecifically aimed at political figures and domain names, and you it said that because of the nature of politics, a politician could not go after the name, especially if it was being used for a free speech campaign.
Seek... And you shall Find
Didn't Senator Orrin Hatch write the law concerning this?Originally Posted by seeker

is it true that politicians can't go after names? Berryhill, can you comment on this?
respondent did not respond - usually bodes well for the complainant.
Always buying quality websites
What about American Idol contenstants? I've seen lots of full name domains being sold. Why is Hillary one step above?
As public figures, they are fair game for comment, however:is it true that politicians can't go after names? Berryhill, can you comment on this?
In determining whether or not Complainant has common law rights in the HILLARY CLINTON mark, the Panel notes that Respondent failed to contest the allegations and the evidence contained within the Complaint. Due to Respondent’s failure to submit a response, the Panel has chosen to view the Complaint in a light most favorable to Complainant, and will accept all reasonable allegations and inferences in the Complaint as true.
