Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I made my bid on domain name Card Expert dot com in Latona's Live Auction via ProxiBid.com. My maximum bid is $1,400. I checked the auction result when it's over, it shows on website that the highest bid is $700 from me, high bidder shows my ID and reserve met. But the stats show PASSED (NOT SOLD, all other auctions shows reserve met are SOLD). I sent an email to Latona's auction team regarding this issue and received their reply that I didn't win this domain in auction because it's sold in room. Did anyone watched the live auction about this domain? I was out for dinner so I really have no idea what happened.
I will update when I get further reply from them. Thanks.
Ouch...Im sure they have a copy of the bidding...keep us posted![]()

Yes, keep us updated and when you are able to get ahold of them, ask them wth is going on with the extended auction... is that still happening?
I watched it go by and considered bidding
I received an email that they were having problems with the auction.
Here is unofficial results from TheDomains.com .. it shows that CardExpert.com sold for $600
Last time you went to get a beer and lost Sued.com and this time is dinner!
Don't worry, I think this will be solved once they check your bids on their website.

Thanks for the info guys. I just received their reply.
That bidder's internet went down so he lost the chance to bid on the domain. It's a fair game.I did look at the logs and did notice what you said. We had a bidder onsite at that time and the internet went down at the hotel. That is why your high bid ended up being not taken into consideration.
I have passed the info along to David. He should be reaching out to you.
I made my pre-bids just to prevent issues like this.
The following screenshot shows the bid stats of this domain.

yeah keep us updated on this...
This is totaly unfair! you should get the domain name, you won it! its not fair to come up with new rules to support 1 party in the hotel. "We had a bidder onsite at that time and the internet went down at the hotel" This is also not fair. I dont think if your internet didnt work, they gonna give you a chance to bid again owntag. Keep us updated!
Thanks Bassel
The domain's reserve range is 500 USD to 750 USD
My maximum proxy bid is $1,400.
Since there's no other bid came in during auction, the proxibid system shows Reserve Met but stats shows PASSED ...

he better deliver the domain name or face black list by all Domainers and have his auction listed as fraudulent.
Finally, received their final decision and it is a good news.I have good news. We are awarding the domain name CardExpert.com to you for 700 USD. Viju (copied) will be sending you an amended invoice shortly.
David also stated there was a hiccup in connectivity during the auction which caused my proxy bid didn't work properly.
It's a server issue and not their mistake though.
This is solved out now.
Thank you guys for your kind support! and thanks David, Toby and Viju for the fair decision.
Great to hear that! I knew Rick will take the right decision. He is always fair imo.
