Re: Legos.com WIPO decision against pool

When you own a domain that's a generic word in some language, but also a famous trademark, your position in any UDRP or court case that might develop over it would be stronger if you actually used the domain for a purpose related to the generic meaning of the word, rather than just warehousing it and claiming some vague plans to develop it in the future.

Re: Legos.com WIPO decision against pool

I did develop a Java portal using Javanese language with no advertising, as the panelist noted. You still can see it here, the site was

    legos.com/index.php

The thing is that the case is brought against Pool.com
Well, Lego has the domain already. So let's forget about it.

If the intent was to create a completely noncommercial site, then .org (or other TLDs like .info) would make more sense than .com, anyway (as noted by the panelist).
