Ideally I want to make my domains have the following in the whois:
[a href=http://www.somewhere.com]this domain is for sale[/a]
My registrar allows it - I just checked. It also shows up as a link on a few different registrars whois searches. (some whois searches strip the HTML though - which is fine by me.)
Anyone? I can assume if my registrar allows it, it's okay to do. If some whois sites want to strip out the HTML - then they can do that. Probably nothing against doing it with ICANN or when it comes to WIPO or anything else is there?
Just make up a "domainforsale@ whatever" email address instead.
Acroplex,
Sure, can do that. But ideally would like a link if it's allowed. I know GoDaddy uses a link with their whois privacy protection. (though they won't allow a link in your own whois.) From checking, some registrars allow this, others dont.
