Re: [M] Mimimise [dot] com - One Word Generic Dictionary Word - Massive!

Understood but i just have one mooooore question :

Why would he sell a domain name infront of everyone that is more seasoned and more experienced rather than going about selling it privately? especially in a forum setting where everyone who knows about domain lives..like all of the above members ....

Re: [M] Mimimise [dot] com - One Word Generic Dictionary Word - Massive!

A dishonorable thing todo but mainly the fault of the registrar, its just as bad a leaving your wallet full of money in a poor neighborhood. How could you let your email expire or even worse, use a free email to register such valuable domains. To be frank with you, I think aliengg is the real owner, because he paid for the renewal fee lol, the domain was bound to drop anyways, he paid to renew it. The ex owner doesn’t have a right to the domain name, if justice is to be done, the domain should be cancelled and dropped and let the normal drop process take effect and NOT returned to the previous owner.

Csite, that would still steal from snapnames, and give to godaddy if that was to happen.

I dont have much feelings towards which corporation should be left to make the profit on selling the name at the end of the day as long as its not returned to it's previous owner as I’m very much bothered by his irresponsible behaviour. We shouldn't support such behaviour from both parties (ex owner and current owner)

The owner was UNABLE to log in to his Netsol account to renew , as the thief had changed his password there etc ...
Just because the owner was not diligent to keep his email alive , does not mean he should be robbed . The owner is NOT domain savvy , and was unaware that his domain could be stole this way . He had logged in to Netsol and renewed his domain for the last several years without the use of this email address.
You have a very curious outlook on this ..

I can't get my head around why he would not check his hotmail for emails from netsol to say domain is about to expire, renew it! or even check his email incase he gets offers on the domain, who knows, maybe he was offered $x,xxx, xxx offers, seems odd he would buy such a domain name, renew it and never bother to check his whois registered email address which i can only assume is probably used for a host of other domains and services too probably. Most hotmail users know their email will expire if unchecked. His irresponsible behaviors got him here, i strongly doubt his claim is strong enough for him to retrieve his domain name. I still vote for the name to be dropped like it was supposed to.

Re: [M] Mimimise [dot] com - One Word Generic Dictionary Word - Massive!

HE IS NOT A DOMAINER....
It was his only domain .. that he ran his business website on for several years .. he didnt give 2 sh1t5 about selling it .

he also used the email ????@minimise.com for his other purposes/business etc.

The email in the whois remained unchanged since the day he registered it ... I doubt he knew how to change it actually .

That is not a professional domainer way to mind your domain , but he aint a domainer .

I suggest you open your eyes , read the thread , then choose to add somthing worthwhile ...

I also add that it did not drop , nor would it have , he could not renew it as his login at Netsol had been changed .. so it was never going to drop .

csite, I am really surprised by your moral views, and this is not the first time.

The legitimate owner's negligence is not an excuse for theft. Will a car thief be tolerated if the cars he stole were unlocked because of the owner's negligence? Or should the court be lean on a burgler because the victim left his home without locking?

Yes, the legitimate owner is to blame too, but he did not do anything illegal or immoral. AlienGG did both.

AlienGG also has access to the owners longtime business email address , which really really sucks IMO...

Whew.. That was a lot, a lot of reading, but I'm 100% convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt that the name was stolen. This is punctuated by the fact that the theif has now gone silent. Getting my names stolen is one of my biggest concerns!
