How do you say "deadbeat" in Polish?
can translate it for you, but not really sure what's the english meaning of "deadbeat"..... something more like "blind bid" / "fake buyer" ?

Neither did I.... I thought that it is Szeców not Szecow, but also not many results, so doesn't look like a Polish surname, but it actually can be a different form:

Mr. Szeca - > Family Szeców

i hope it is okay to add another deadbeat buyer here..
if there is a better place to post, please tell me or move this post.
(it seems that i have no privilege to create a post in legal issues section)

    sedo-data of the buyer:

    Stephen Slobodzian
    889 Krosno Blvd
    Pickering, ON L1W 1H2
    Canada

it seems that he owns following domains:
    http://onlinecasino.co.in/
    http://kuhoot.com/

buyer didn't pay at sedo and didn't react on emails!

Incidentally, has anyone subpoenaed a deadbeat's full contact info from sedo? I am suspecting that the German office needs to step up their procedures of ensuring only verified buyers bid.

This is my 3rd deadbeat buyer on Sedo in the past 4 years.
Ahhhh that's what it takes .. I think that should be part of the "buyer's contact information".. some people you can google.. some are off the grid..amazing these days

Every domainer on dnf has a bad experience or will have bad experience with sedo auctions.their transfer agents are clueless about the buyers.

They should initiate some kind of legal proceedings against people who shill bid and don't allow real bidders to bid on domains or who fail to pay.

I had three deadbeat buyers till now.

i would be careful posting personal information on here other than your own. I think there is huge liablity if anything were to happen after data was published on the net.

    just a thought.

Did they complete the non-payment transaction from that time or start a new transaction ?? Just wondering how you knew it was the same buyer..Perhaps sedo shut their "buyer" account down and in order to buy another domain thay had to fulfill the nonpayment transaction to reactivate their account??

    No. He was never deactivated.
He made an offer and used the same wording in a comment as the past transaction.
I asked him if he was the same buyer and he said yes. (he had a problem, blah blah)

And yes I remember all the deadbeats from sedo...

Wow..according to sedo a nonpaying buyer has their "buyers" marketplace account option removed (can't buy any domains)..only can sell from what I understand .. maybe a sedo rep can clarify..I hope you charged them a higher price

    ditto

Seraphim, have you seen Schindler's List, set in Krakow? Visited Auschwitz-Birkenau nearby? One place I want to see in my lifetime. Perhaps the most significant memorial for us accepting each other as human beings.

The information was provided to me after the buyer failed to make payment for 2 weeks.

If I had their email address and phone number I would publish these as well.

It's about time that we get rid of deadbeats that **** up sales. I will push as much as I can with sedo to tighten up the process of verification. Every bidder should be tied to a credit card.
