Seriously though, coming at the same time as the class action suit to pay for testing kids from all of the lead tainted crap that Mattel's been selling, there is certainly something obscene going on.

Surely the Board at Mattel must be furious that all the bad press they are getting!

But I would like to know how a porn star has 'diluted' the image of a small plastic doll?

Market:
Barbie Doll is for young girls (generally) between the ages of 3 and 12 (I guess):
Barbie porn star is for men (generally) of the age 13 and 110 (again I guess)

Image
Barbie doll's image is as a tacky toy that you have to dress:
Barbie porn star is as an expensive toy you want to undress (or otherwise)

Branding
Only Mattel bring about the awareness of Barbie the porn star, I just wish I had shares in that film company before these legal moves, I bet the sales have gone through the roof!
Barbie the porn star will likely now release a record that will enter the Top 10 of the charts, the only branding here is by Mattel.

I would like to bet that the fees Barbie charges now per film have shot up through the roof since this went public!
