Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I bought the domain GIH.info a while back on another domain forum for low $xxx.
The seller is someone with a good reputation, done business with him before.
I bought the name cheap and got an offer on sedo within a week so I decided to flip the name.
Two days after the auction ended, I received an email from eNom that gih.info was a stolen name, and they removed it from my account.
sedo got angry with me for auctioning a domain thats not mine, so I had to explain the situation to them.
Appearantly the name sold on namejet before and the buyer placed a chargeback, so Namejet demanded the domain back from ME. I wasn't even the person that bought it from the guy that placed a chargeback, no, the person I bought it from bought it from that dude.
How the hell does NameJet have the right to demand a name back?
Help on this would be great..

The moment you signed up with them, you agreed to their terms. In the event of a charge reversal or chargeback by a credit card company or other payment provider, or if we determine in our sole discretion that we are unable or unlikely to collect payment, any associated domain registration will immediately terminate and/or the domain name will be transferred to NameJet as the paying entity for the registration.
Unfortunately what you described occurs. Sorry to read it happened to you.
Vidi, Vici, Veni!
I don't understand what happened.
You bought the domain from another seller or at Namejet?
i had nothing to do with namejet, I bought it from a forum member at NP
The NP member i bought it from, had bought it from someone who bought it at namejet in MAY. now namejet took the domain from my account as the winner of that ancient auction placed a chargeback on his CC.
Well that's way crazy. As far as I recall, the "clawback" period for Namejet is 45 days. You're talking about 2 1/2 months later.
Yes, sounds crazy!

its getting crazier.
I owned the domain from july 27th - august 8th. (at aug. 8th they took it from my enom acct)
At august 6th (while I still owned it) namejet auctioned it off.
btw - i never put it for sale at NJ for those that are gonna ask.
