I need a lawyer who can assist me with a few domain suits. Must I be looking for someone who is in Internet law or can I pick just a normal civil case lawyer?

Any references as to where I can find a good attorney in Los Angeles?

If you are looking to FILE internet related cases, there are a number of IP attorneys in the L.A. area. However, if you need to DEFEND domains, any of the lawyers that contribute to this board can assist you.

Are you intending to go after someone to get their domain name, or are you intending to defend yourself against someone who is trying to take away your domain name?
