But I have already went around with GD. They say as soon as I push it to someone, it isn't their problem, they can't do nothing (or won't do nothing).
I do appreciate your help JP.
Now if Adam can help this Chen, he can help me.![]()
How were the names stolen in the first place?
BobGuzzo.comdomains.
From what Peter says they gained access to his GD account. I would guess email first.
...and now that all of the pissing and moaning about GD's transfer-out policy is over, I predict an increase in hi-jacked domains being moved away from GD.From what Peter says they gained access to his GD account. I would guess email first.

Great job there once again JP, and I hope Sterling gets his names back.
What your doing to help out the victim(s) is admirable, However, if the domains in questions were not traded on this forum, why are we investigating?
What has the "other" forum done to help recover the domains?
Who are you and what do you have to do with this thread?
Anyway........
Thank you to Adam for trying. But, after talking with a person high up at GoDaddy, it seems their hands are tied. All they can do is recommend that I get an injunction filed and fax that to them so they can freeze the name. After that, I would have to file a claim in small claims court. If I get a ruling in my favor, I would fax that to them and they would then transfer the name back to me.
But since I pushed the name myself, and my account wasn't hacked, they can not help me unless I do as they said.
This just has to be a learning experience for me.
Moral of the story:
Lie to Godaddy and tell them your account was hacked and the scammer is one of the accounts the name(s) was pushed to.![]()
lol, like you wouldn't think GoDaddy reps are lurking around all the forums
Names have been recovered and now are back in my possession.
Thank you to GoDaddy and PayPal for not doing a damn thing and allowing more innocent people to get ripped off.
Nice to hear that
