You have been sent this Notice because the records of PayPal, Inc. indicate you are a current or former PayPal account holder. This means you may be eligible to receive a payment from the proposed class action settlement in the lawsuit In re PayPal Litigation, Case No. 02 1227 JF PVT, pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in San Jose. On July 12, 2004, Judge Fogel entered an order granting preliminary approval of the settlement and certifying the following class for purposes of the settlement: All Persons who opened a PayPal account during the period from October 1, 1999 through January 31, 2004. Excluded from the class are any judicial officer to whom the lawsuit is assigned; PayPal and any of its affiliates; any current or former employee, officer, or director of PayPal; anyone who resides in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, or United Kingdom; and all persons who timely and validly request exclusion from the class pursuant to this notice.
Thus, if you opened a PayPal account between October 1, 1999 and January 31, 2004, and are not one of the excluded persons listed above, you are a member of the class.

Maybe we should just print out the form without hitting the submit button, fill it out, sign it and send it to them?
What do you think?
or maybe wait a couple of days and see if they fix the form?
I would like to know what happens when the submit button is clicked by someone in the states who wont have phone number, state and zip errors

"It has come to our attention that the claim form does not yet accept foreign addresses. Please be advised that the site administrator is fixing this problem. Persons living outside the United States are entitled to file claims, unless they currently reside in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, or the United Kingdom."
(The site administrator must be on an hourly rate, if it is taking this long to change the form!!) |

Filled it out twice, submitted it, printed it, signed it, now just gotta buy some stamps, send em, and sit back and wait for the dividend
How much do ya reckon it will be ?
$10?
more? Quote: |

DNF$: 11 | Re: PayPal Loses Class Action Yes, the class action is legitimate - but I don't believe it has been settled yet - if you have a paypal account you can search their site for it, or you can contact them directly for information - you can also do a google search and a ton of articles will come up - basically - if you had issues with them refunding money, etc - you probably qualify. |

My old car insurance company went bankrupt and people sued cause they paid for insurance for the year upfront, $100 million was awarded to about 10 million people, and after lawyer fees, and all the other stuff each person got $1.15.
After only 1 year of waiting. |

If you make a timely, valid claim using the Short Claim Form, you will receive a payment of $50
| I guess the amount needed to pay all of the short form claims exceeded the Fund. Looks like we all might get around $8. Quote: |
unless the amount needed to pay all of the Short Form claims exceeds the Short Form Fund. In that case, the Short Form Fund will be divided equally among all Short Form Claimants
