Country: | Problem with .DE domain and Godaddy proxy contact. Hi all, I need a bit of advice. I have a few .DE domains and today I got an email from Godaddy and their proxy contact saying that the contact is resigning since one of my web site (on one of the .de domains) has links to some adult sites and therefore illegal in Germany. Now I have to change the admin contact with someone residing in Germany or they will delete my domain. Any ideas guys? I know I can not transfer it to another registrar, or can I? Also, if they delete it is there way to catch it if I have someone register it? Thank you.

Country: | I think you should move the name to another registrar asap. Many registrars will provide the admin contact. I would go with a German registrar instead. I think gd actually is a reseller for key systems for .de domains. But I doubt there is such a law in Germany that says online porn is illegal ![]()
