DNF$: 4,835 Location: Columbia, MD | Register.com computer calling I just received a computer generated call from Register.com informing me that I should renew a domain address and all I have to do is press 1 to renew. Fortunately, I don't have any domains with Register.com and there is no mention that agreeing to renew will result in transferring the domain to Register.com. I held for an operator and I gave them the riot act. The funny thing is that the person agreed that the message should not have been sent and people who don't understand haw the registration process works would be duped. They did offer a 10% off the normal registration price. This is the latest attempt to dupe the public.
