Just a heads up to everybody rpg.org and mmorpg-x.com have been confirmed as stolen domain names.

The rightful owner is currently trying to rectify the problem however the domain has been transferred away from the original registrar now making things somewhat harder.

The domain was on GoDaddy however now it has been moved over to eNom.

If you see these domains for sale please alert people on that market place.

The thief has registered here as well http://www.dnforum.com/member-rpg-org.html however has not attempted to sell the domain yet (unless it is in a moderation queue).

Admin have now been informed and I am sure will take appropriate action.

Just to let you know. Prior to his ban on here rpg.org also made offers to sell the domain using PM.

Was talking to someone on a forum i help mod and someone happened to mention it.

A new member sent PMs to several members (He sent to me too!) to sell rpg.org yesterday for $3.5K and insisted in Western Union.

I accepted the offer and terminated the account.

you should have asked for his Western Union info and wired him 3.5k rubels or something then contacted authorities or spam the guys name and address all over the place.

I wish him the best of luck but Enom's not going to do a damn thing given my experience with them with this very issue. They had the domain, it was still in 7 day lock, they had all the time in the world to simply freeze it so they could investigate my claim, and they did nothing, the thief resold it and transferred it out.

That's unfortunate - rpg.org is especially a very nice name. :(

I have been lucky in that I have not had a domain stolen myself yet. However from experience of a past stolen domain I helped someone with Moniker and Netsol were meant to be particularly good.

eNom and GoDaddy on the other hand seem to be useless in this respect.
