I sold a domain in DNF on aug 23 2007, the seller paid on time, I pushed the domain to him. But after a while I noticed that the domain still in my account, so I pm'ed him and he never replied. If fact I sent him 4 or 5 pm's on different dates (last one on nov 11,2007) asking him If he have a problem getting the domain, still no response.
Now I received an offer for this domain, what to do in your opnion?
Please note that the domain is ccc.net, but got a decent offer for it.

I don't think you should sell it as a goodwill gesture keep it in your account till it reaches expiry date then renew and keep it for yourself.
If you pushed the name how is it in your account? Or is the WHOIS info in your name? If it's the latter, you're stuck as you don't manage the domain anymore although you're getting inquiries.

Yeah that's very strange.
I don't want to make quick conclusions but maybe someting happened to the buyer after he bought the domain? Maybe he had an accident and couldn't confirm the transfer.
But I would first try to contact the buyer in anyway that's possible. Cause mabye you sell it now and the old buyer shows up in a month.

I have had this happen twice where a sold domain still appears in my account when the renewal date approaches. To avoid any future complications I just cancel the domain registration.
I have pushed a few domains over , where after the push , they still appered in my account, but actually they were pushed,
i emailed enom support and they updated there records,This happened to me with several .orgs...
But if you sell the name again, after receiving funds from the first sale, thats un ethical,

It depends on the registrar - and Poulos is right as well. I had 2 "ghost" domains that remained in my account despite a transfer out, which I then pushed LOL to another account for fun. They are still "there", even though they are not![]()
Assuming you had the domain at GoDaddy and pushed into another Godaddy account, unless you change the contact and admin info the domain will show as yours in the whois until the buyer makes the changes.
If GoDaddy is like NameCheap, Enom or other registrars, sometimes the domain will show up in your account until you use the synchronization feature to sort your portfolio.
Try those things, but in reality the domain is not really yours to sell any longer.
Cheers!

if the buyer has not accepted the push, I believe you should wait for them too. and continue to contact them periodically to remind them. I am in a similar situation where I sold a domain but the buyer has yet to push or transfer the domain. I will keep trying to make contact and wait for them to do so. Reselling the domain would be bad form in my opinion
i have the same problem now myself, i sold two domains in december.. got paid for it.. and have not received any feedback from the buyer.. 5 pms and no answer.. i dont get it.. dude has checked his emails... and read them and still has not responded to my emails or pms...
maybe the gay tell you a wrong id or email,so you count not push name to him.i sold a name to a gay in here,he give me a GD's email,i pushed 5 or 6 times to him in two month,it's all failed, the last, the gay said he give me a wrong gd's email!
Strange to say the least... He's paid up though, its costing you nothing, and if you had no "agreement" for the timeframe within to finalize the transfer, I'll catch some shit for this, but you should let it drop, it's not yours anymore really...
Thanks guys for your responses. As I said, I pushed the domain once I received the payment. But the guy didn't continue the procedure to transfer the domain in GoDaddy. I sent him several pm's but he never responded.
Regarding the offer I got for this domain, I replied saying that the domain is sold and it is not mine anymore. The domain will expire july 2008, so hopefully he will show up here in the forum and at least check his pm's.
The buyers name in DNF is : zymic. So if any one knows him, please let him know that I still have the domain he purchased.
thanks all

sorry but the "gay" comment made me laugh out aloud.
i think you meant "guy" not "gay"
Acroplex also had me in stitches.
Back to the browsing.
It's all meant in innocent fun (till we poke an eye out)![]()
Seems zymic left a liittle while back after getting razed, he is easy enough to find though through:
zymic.com
Cheers!
