Was using the domain to show my friends the commercial and whomever else wanted to see it. I think after having a controversial commercial on the superbowl there is room for discussion and "fair use". Please let me know your opinion.Originally Posted by insomnia

It could be fair use, but if you lose the UDRP it can be cited against you in the future. You will forever be branded as a "cybersquatter."
You can NEVER use the domain for business.
So, what's the point in keeping it?
At least you were smart to register it with Enom :-D
What happens if a person transfers a domain to another person before a WIPO is ever issued?
I forgot which, but there was a case where the panelist decided there was
bad faith because the domain name was quickly transferred to another person
just a few days (or was it weeks?) before it reached UDRP.
By the way, why is godaddycommercial.com redirecting to Go Daddy? And how
can one transfer it to Go Daddy if it's newly registered (less than 60 days)?
Vidi, Vici, Veni!
You mean, before a UDRP is initiated?
See http://www.internic.net/faqs/udrp.html
The email you were served with is a C&D letter, in which case they will proceed with you as the defendant if you don't comply.
Start a bilingual company about religion, family, and spanish television called
God, Dad, y comerciál
Then buy the equivalent IDN. I think you have a fighting chance!
Okay, just kidding. You're screwed. Transfer it to them and just vow never to buy any domains from them. I know I have.

I'm just waiting 'til the shine wears off.
GD actively scans for registrations of new names with their company name as a substring. Ebay does the same.
What if the name was a typo i.e. - Godadycommericial.com
How would this impact the likelyhood of the name being transferred back to GoDaddy?
The thing about Ebay is that many people refer to the name in publications or books. For instance ebayconsultant.com is a domain that I looked up and there are several other examples or what I consider to be "fair use". What I think and what a court or panel interprets is another thing.Originally Posted by RADiSTAR
I have actually been very pleased with GoDaddy except for one issue that came up last year. I at least owe them a freebie after all the domains I have gotten through their backorder service.Originally Posted by FLe8
Transfer is currently being initiated...
they are giving me the phone number for the actress in exchange for compliance! j/k :-D
You are being too nice. I would have put up a page with "Parsons, you're a hypocrite".

While you can't transfer this for 60 days, you can certainly push it to another enom account. Just ask GoDaddy to create a free enom account and tell them that you will push the domain into their account.
(I wonder if they will do it.)
I see no use in trying.
