Domain: moralmajority.us
Name: ########
Phone: #######
Email: #######
Offer: $50.00
Comments: Please respond to the inquiry. I work with the organization that currently has the trademark for the Moral Majority and we would like to obtain this domain
I own TheMoralMajority.org, moralmajority.us, and .info. I looked for their trademark at the USTPO.gov website but I didn't find anything. Does anybody else see their trademark?
The reason why I tend to believe them is because of this link:

Jerry Fallwell is relaunching this organization.
He was also the original founder of the Moral Majority back in the 80's and the email is coming from his representative with an email address from his college, Liberty College.

http://www.citizen.org/pressroom/release.cfm?ID=1125think of the prestige you would earn if you were able to beat Jerry fallwell
"We are pleased that the panel agreed that Mr. Cohn has a right to use Falwell’s name when criticizing him, and has every right to do so on the Internet. Also, Public Citizen thanks Philadelphia lawyer John Berryhill for his assistance in defending this case."
That and five bucks will get you a hot cup of latte.

Wow, I had no idea you were Cohn's lawyer John. Were you bummed when Jerry finally ended up winning the domains in court?

Uh, no. Because he didn't.Were you bummed when Jerry finally ended up winning the domains in court?
In fact, Falwell's post-UDRP case was thrown out in Virginia. By the time Falwell got around to filing in Ohio, Mr. Cohn believed his point about Falwells 9/11 comments had been made, and Mr. Cohn went on to other interests.

But, yes, that's how much "prestige" is involved in beating Falwell - people end up with the impression he didn't lose.

In short, Falwell won the battle, but lost the war. :-DOriginally Posted by jberryhill
