    Re: Trademark name sales

Was the complainant required to pay the defendant's attorney fees after the Telepathy case was dismissed?
    No.

you will almost never see a company go after A
There is problem a big difference between "what happens most of the time" and "what I see come across my desk".

People don't call me to say, "Everything's going fine."

And, yes, actnow, that plaintiff was monumentally silly.

    Re: Trademark name sales

    John,
Thank you again for your advice. I have a final question that I would like to pose to you. If a person has sold a few names with trademarks in them, what do you recommend that they do? Should they try to buy them back and let them drop/cancel the registration? Please give advice that could help the forum.

The answers to that really are: a) do so at your own risk, or b) don't get into
    it at all.

Besides, you'd have to retain John to give you solid legal advice. :-D

This is starting to sound less like a hypothetical.
