I got a domain name last year for development as a affiliate site.
Over the last 8 months I have been getting 5 to 10 hits aday, type o traffic, I assume this because my sites not even indexed on any search engs.
The domain name I have is movies**. My competitor lives in the UK and has movie**.
Most of the moves to watch are from the Hollywood area with copy right laws.
The affiliate site is coming out of Russia and I live in the USA.
The site Sell's instance download movies to ipods ($2.00 ea.) and hard drives ($5.00 ea.).
I think I could get in a legal bind if I joined this site so I have a wait and see thing going on. I have read reports about Royalty Fees and how the Mother site will be sued or shut down.
Shoud I jump in or should I wait till I die?
Time is money and I'm losing the extra income.

I dont post a lot and never posted in Legal Issues. After I posed my topic I tried to edit but was not able too, or could I post again for 48 hours.
Posting a website on this link might be considered as a advertising campaign, its not.
I like to be legal to the best of my limited knowledge so I ask if any one knows more about the mother site then what I can find on the network search.

The web site that is the #1 affiliate is movie 2 b (dot) com,
the site does not advertise and does better in page rank then the mother site.
Sure is tempting to get started.

Here's a HOT business that seems to be very good, running out of Russia selling USA product, most reviews call it a pirate site.

Why cant a company from America sell instance movie downloads in all formats like zml(dot)com and be called a legit site?.

I think that movies is type in search more them movie. I would like to join the xml affiliate program but I'm not sure.
Would I get sued becuase I live in the US?
