I'm particularily thinking .CN and a lot of the organizations I'm thinking are North American based....
The buying and selling of domains has enough potential hazards.
Why go looking for extra problems? The last thing you want ito do is to get into a legal battle with NFL, NBA, etc. Their pockets are alot deeper than yours. Unless your name is michael gates,
Buffett, etc.
And, you surely don't want to be the "test" case. That is also a no win situation.
I passed on buying 8 names today that expired. Eventhough, they were not direct conflicts. I don't want to go looking for trouble.
There are just as many opportunities to make money correctly instead infringing on a "obvious" TM.
It just dawned on me.
I am sure they are probably already taken. But, why don't
you register football.cn , basketball.cn , etc. And, I doubt that
there are TM on football, etc.
In that way, you might sleep completely thru the night.
(Any one who has gone thru legal battles know what I am saying.)
Well, I got the name afterall. NHL.cn LOLI don't really mind a C&D Letter from the actual NHL, I figure it'll be kind of cool.
An aftermarket for C & D letters? This is a new twist.I don't really mind a C&D Letter from the actual NHL, I figure it'll be kind of cool.
