    Wi Fi

Can anyone tell me if "Wi-Fi", or "WiFi" is generic, or is it trademarked? I always thought generic. Thanks.

    Dave,

    Tess links are session specific.

    TARR links are not.

Gotcha. Just that tess links expire after a while, so I figured I might as well
put the tarr link so the OP can at least see there's indeed a filed mark for it.

    Re: Wi Fi

The situation is a bit more complex than that. You have a TESS link there, not a TARR link.

A TARR link looks like this:

    http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?r...entry=78491710

    See the difference?

    Re: Wi Fi

    LOL, nice TARR link.
Now, back to the question... sedo is selling wifi.com for 350 grands.
Are they allowed? Since "wifi" is a registered trademark... I also think that is generic.
