I think there's a story behind this one, and we need to fill Greg up with beers, so we get to hear it.

so does micorsoft.com, probably too, but a TM makes it almost worthless. bet greg looses jets.com in a wipo too. he has lost before and previous losses make it easier for the plaintiff to win another against him.

WWF, the organization will probably sue and win. That is the reason why the BILLION DOLLAR wrestling company, WWE, formelry called World Wrestling Federation (WWF) changed its name to WWE. If they can beat a multi-billion dollar company then they can beat anyone.

netend, the name was set to expire in 2009. It got deleted after they changed their name. So... I don't think they have a chance now. I mean, if their name is WWE and they win WWF in a sueing case then all other owners of WW*.com would have to be aware that they don't lose their name if WWE sues them...

I think he meant WWF the wildlife organisation. Notice the username WWF_DNS on this forum and the info in the profile.

I don't see how the wildlife group would have any valid claim against a site that didn't relate to wildlife... their case against the wrestling federation stemmed from a 1994 agreement between the two parties (which I think the wrestling federation was foolish to sign) to resolve an earlier legal case.

    Exactly.

As long as Greg has very little content on the site ( :^) ), I think he's safe.

But c'mon Greg. Make me cry like a baby. Tell me the daily uniques.
