I wonder why Trafficz isn't more popular?
They have the best landing pages in the business aside from the parking companies that have minimum domain requirements (my opinion of course!)
So I figure its payout must not be great?![]()
Trafficz Rocks For me in Compared to sedo for me for traffic stats as well as CPC
Selling Insurance Domains making $ 50-1k for Cheap !!! ( Includes Insurance-Us.com, SilverInsurance.net)
Everything you said is true but there's were "past issues" with TraffiZ that
could explain the lesser popularity.
About a year ago, there was a big conversion to a new system from Yahoo for ppc on TrafficZ. An issue cropped up with keyword optimization where Yahoo enforced a method of choosing keywords based on just the domain name and nothing else. So for instance the domain "ThePenIsMightierThanTheSword.com" would optimize as "The Penis Mighter Than Thes Word" or some such nonsense. The effect is that only "shoes.com" or "ladders.com" could keyword optimize correctly. Nothing else would. It wasn't that everything optimized to adult keywords, lots of domains were just mis-optimized.
Compounding this, click "fraud" became a media term that was sensationalized whether it was a big issue or not. The result was that if Yahoo's algorithms believed that they weren't getting targeted clicks they adjusted for a credit.
The result was lots of domains that wouldn't optimize correctly followed by no payments for any clicks you did get.
People were seeing 1000 clicks with 0.00 as the CPC. A zero value CPC with a lot of clicks is one way to make someone in the domain industry pretty angry.
TrafficZ support realized the issue too late for a lot of people who left in mass to other PPC sites. The owner/president/CEO person even posted on here to try and smooth things over. I'm sure that once TrafficZ fixed the issue, people started joining back but it made some of us a little gun shy not wanting to repeat the issue again.
It's really a big hit for a company that has strick rules for its members.
IMO it's as bad as MarkMonitor dropped Google.de.
