    trafficz - what's wrong today?

Is anyone experiencing problems with TrafficZ this saturday? Seems that stats are not updating and landers for my domains don't show proper keywords.

    Emailed support this morning.

I hope it will be fixed soon

Yes, I had problems too. I expect it was general.

The income for me for Saturday did however end up around normal at the end of the day so probably no, or minimal loss of income at close of day.

Today is doing fine for me for a Sunday.

Is it happening only to me that keywords on the landing page don't match with keywords set up in domain manager?

Re: trafficz - what's wrong today?

To all of our loyal TrafficZ customers:

In order to create a more redundant network infrastructure and to prepare for the expansion of our data center operations worldwide, TrafficZ is in the process of moving to a distributed database environment. Although account statistics and domain edits are no longer updated in true "real time", our internal benchmarking has shown most updates to propagate across the entire network within 2 to 10 minutes (depending upon network traffic levels and Internet connection latency), which is still closer to real time than any other provider in the industry. In addition, our new network architecture will dramatically improve system performance, resulting in faster page loads, increased clickthroughs and higher revenues, making our best-in-class service even better.

Please be assured that this small sacrifice in update time is considerably outweighed by the exponential increase in infrastructure reliability, stability, performance and (soon) globally load-balanced traffic distribution and handling.

As always, we appreciate your patience and loyalty as we work hard to improve TrafficZ. Stay tuned for more exciting system upgrades in the coming weeks and months!

    Very truly yours,
    the TrafficZ team

Ok, so the home page and the landers arent resolving. Big improvement. Gee I wonder if they track and credit publishers such as domainsponsor does? I guess I'll find out soon enough. Glad I only tested with two high traffic domains.

Re: trafficz - what's wrong today?

yeah, today uptime it's not at 100%. NexSite, usually TrafficZ credit publishers for every downtime. I had 2 full days downtime this time becuase they didn't announce the server/network upgrade at all, so i moved my domains only 48 hours later when i realized that. But this time doesn't seem that they will credit users since there is no reference to any compensation. Furthermore they introduced contextual links when you click on a keyword/category. Wonderful, and essential. But this feature works only in english language, so all the efforts i made to "localize" my european domains are not useful since when a user click in the lander page, it changes to english. I hope this "optimization" will be optional for each domain.

Re: trafficz - what's wrong today?

TrafficZ has not experienced any down time recently. However, we had some server updating issues on Saturday, January 7th, but this did not result in any loss of revenue. Please be assured that we will always compensate our clients if any down time occurs on our system.

With respect to foreign traffic, our development team is currently working on solving this issue. We should have this resolved early next week.

As always, thank you for your continued support!

On a positive note, my average income over the last few days is well up on the same period a month ago.

I guess it could be in part due to the changes they were making.

Re: trafficz - what's wrong today?

I guess while the contextual keyword/category feature is doing well for english domains has forced me to move elsewhere my non-english domains.

I hope this feature will be localized or at least be optional.
