    Question adsense question

my sites have been up a little over two months now.

I know they are getting some traffic now. but there is something i cant figure out

i have the adsense set up so each site has its own Ad Channel, for purposes of tracking how many clicks/$ for each site. Normally, in Adsense if i go to reports i can look at a report for each separate Ad Channel and it will show me how many impressions and how many clicks and revenue for each Ad Channel (to correspond to each site)

none of my content minisites Ad Channels show a single impression in over two months. i know that the publisher id is correct, and the name of the Ad Channel is correct. anyone have any idea about this?

For all i know i am getting clicks but i dont even know it, or worse, they are getting clicks and they are not being credited!

Try adding a url channel. The dnf minisites don't include the tracking code for custom channels as far as I know, if that's what you are referring to.

thanks. that was very easy to implement. i never knew about URL channels. any idea why content minisites has a field for ad channel when they don't put that code in anyway?

this makes sense because i was showing more revenue than what added up from my custom channels, but i wasnt completely sure because i have some accounts on other sites that do an adsense revenue share

    Hi,

Yes you need to add a URL channel.

We do support custom ad channels but members are submitting the wrong codes there.
URL channels are much easier to work with as you just need to add the url in your account to track the domain fully.
