    Content Mini Sites & ClickBank

    Hello,

I have just received my Content Mini Site (http://conveyancekit.com) and selected to have ClickBank for monetizing.

If I go to the site (http://conveyancekit.com) and select one of the ClickBank links... and go through the order process, it shows traxweb... and not affirmware as the affiliate, as per [affiliate = traxweb]

    Please advise.

    Regards
    Jeff

    Hi,

I also got affirmware as the clickbank id that followed through onto the payment page of a clickbank ad. Can you confirm you received this?

Please also make sure affirmware is set as your publisher ID under Ad settings and Options in your admin manager.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for checking... yes, its working for me know.

What I did was to sign up for the www.myclickbankads.com ... the site that all CB ads from my mini site get sent through.

They wanted a 60% 40% if I stayed with the free version... but for a cost I could get 100% of affiliate sales.

Can you confirm that this is how the Content mini sites work... just that I did not see any mention of this before I purchased them.

    Regards
    Jeff

    Hi Jeffrey,

Great to hear you got it worked out. No we do not take any percentage. All you need to do is signup for clickbank and register with a new account. When submitting your site to us, choose clickbank and enter your clickbank ID.

We do not revenue share with our sites. It is 100% your ID.

    Hi guys,

When I did as you suggested... selected Clickbank and inserted my CB ID: I was re-directed to:
www.myclickbankads.com where I was informed that with the free service I would have to share the revenue.

    See: www.myclickbankads.com/whyus.php

    <>Snip>
How much does it cost to use MyClickBankAds?
Absolutely nothing! The service is free. When a user clicks ads by MyClickBankAds, you will be credited with the referral 60% of the time while MyClickBankAds will be credited 40% of the time. Any profit we make from the 40% goes back into MyClickBankAds for development and the cost of running this service.
    <Snip>

Am I missing something... it is pretty clear a sharing arrangement.

    Regards
    Jeff

    Hi Guys,

Further to last... your system does not go directly to ClickBank... the Ad Network option is to
go to: MyClickBankAds.com. Which like I say want a % cut for the free service.

P.S. I would also add... that because I have quite a few domains that I want to use the MyClickBankAds.com service on it's actually very good value. So, I am not complaining... just saying that I was initially a tad confused because I was not told that this is how it worked... and had to wade through the system to work it out.

    Regards
    Jeff

I am looking into this for you.
    I understand the situation now.

We paid for a full service with them but it seems it just looks like it works for one account.

I will post back shortly and let you know.

I was also interested in this for my mini content sites .. I have 20 already want was going to order more when I heard about this feature.. but if you only get credited 60% of the time and they get credited 40% of the time I will rather post cb ads directly on my sites.. why not just make a plugin for the mini content system to work with cb.

    Hi Ezimedia,

If Content mini sites could create a plugin that would be the ideal... In the absence of that... here's the deal:

If you purchase the service from MyClickBankAds (annual fee) you get to keep 100% of the commission. What you are actual paying for is to have MyClickBankAds show ads that are appropriate to your articles/pages. Check out some of my site to see how well they match ads to content.

    www.changeselfhypnosis.com www.exagym.com www.guidetoaffirmations.com www.lifecoachingmadeeasy.com www.meditationeasy.com www.new-ageshop.com www.overcomeshyness101.com www.selfesteemmadeeasy.com www.setting-goal.com www.thecreativeschool.com www.thelawofattractionmadeeasy.com www.thestressreleasebible.com www.thevisualizationbook.com www.weightlosssubliminals.com www.yoga-block.com www.you-can-heal-your-life.com www.cashandco.com www.computer-data-recovery.com www.conveyancekit.com

You be the judge... I don't have these sites indexed yet (only went live 1 week ago) so not making money YET... but for the most part I like the way the service matches ads to content.

Note: Only Mini sites created mid July have the MyClickBankAds option.

    Hope this helps.

    P.S. Here's an alternative to MyClickBankAds.com
    http://clicksensor.com

    Hi Everyone,
I just signed up for ContentMiniSites and used Clickbank since I don't have an Adsense account yet. I think I saw that Clickbank is only going to pay me 25%...can that be right? Which is preferable and pays better Clickbank or Adsense? I have applied for an Adsense account. If approved, can I switch that for Clickbank?

I'm no development expert... but wouldn't it be logical to let us type our own ads in modules on the right side of the page and add hyperlinks accordingly, so as to avoid plugin related hassles?

    Re: Ads

    Re: ClickBank:
ClickBank pays 92.5% of the suggested retail, less $1.00... you the affiliate then receive whatever % the vendor was offering.

    Re: Type our own ads:
The reason to use a third party option is that you want the ads to be as related to the articles as you can. If you type your own they are going to be canned up for the entire site (I think). The www.clicksensor.com option lets you both have them automatically select... and you can also create your own ads. The MyClickBankAds option is incorporated into the Content mini sites and is pretty cheap... if you have a few sites... so for me it was just quicker.

Regards what ads option is best. Testing always win out, and if you use the CMS in product options its going to be very easy to move from one to the other.

Note: I think MyClickBankAds is using the www.clicksensor.com script.

    Regards
    Jeff

Sicne clickbank doesnt offer an ad system we chose a reliable service to integrate our service with.
They provide the right ad box sizes, a reliable system to run against to display the ads and the option to receive 100% of the commissions. If you have no traffic yet I wouldnt purchase but if you do then you should definitely. Its only $47 for the year.

You will need to register another account here:My Click Bank Ads
You have the option to stay with a free account or purchase a full account. A free account works on a 60-40% split where your clickbank id is show 60% of the time and 40% for MyClickBankAds. If you purchase a full account it will display your Clickbank ID 100% of the time for a small fee of $47.

***ContentMiniSites.com is not charging for this service. We have simply integrated a reliable Clickbank system for our customers to take advantage of the Clickbank service and displaying targeted products on your new content mini site.

Once you’re all setup you can now login to your Contentminisites.com account and click on “Submit New Site”. Fill out the necessary fields and choose Clickbank as your Ad Network option and submit your new Clickbank username below it.
