Newsletter - Free template ?

Hello,

In the 5 minutes following the reception of the DN Forum Newsletter on Sunday, I've replied to the offer giving free template to the first 20 answering the call...

well..I believe that I was pretty fast...

An acknowledgement of reply would be nice....

5 minutes does seem quick but all 20 came in pretty quick and around the same time.

Hmmm...I responded within one minute of getting the email at August 2, 2009 11:33:11 AM. Might have been a delay I guess.

Are you assuming all emails are sent out at the same time?

Hey everyone - I just wanted to say that I was one of the lucky ones that won a free template. (Thanks guys!) Exciting stuff, I hardly ever win anything! I replied within minutes of receiving the email.

I submitted my domain name on Aug 8th and it was finished this morning and I'm very happy with it.

This is actually my first post, I've just been a reader. I upgraded my membership today and am looking forward to joining the discussions. =)

(BTW, AFAIK newsletters cannot be sent at exactly the same time to everyone. They are sent one at a time, at very high speeds yes, but still they are not all sent out instantaneously to everyone on the list, I don't think thats possible. Also, some email servers are slow on the receiving end)

Yes all 20 were chosen based on the time of email receipt. The first 20 emails that came in were chosen as the winners.

I just happened to be online at the exact moment when the email hit the inbox. I never enter anything because I never win. HA! Since the confirmation email came back that I won the site, I've decided to try the lottery next!

My free site is complete, up and now I'm off to surf the forum for tricks to maximize it!
First search.. how to make my google account acknowledge. I'm thinking there is a toggle somewhere I am missing or perhaps I need to synchronize the channels.
