Smile Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

I just moved all my parked domains from Sedo to Namedrive today (except for the .eu ones, my partner wants to leave them there for a while.)

I hope I picked some good keywords because I made about $2.50 at Sedo for the past 3 months! Hoping to make a bit more than that at Namedrive.

Have about 34 domains moved. Has anyone moved lately from Sedo to Namedrive and how are you doing?

Re: Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

Having names parked at both Sedo and NameDrive, I like the user features NameDrive offers. Selection of header, main and sub-categories, and your own keywords. Makes for a nicer landing page.

I like Sedo's sales features, and description space on domains for sale.

Both have easy-to-use stats.

NameDrive seems to bring me more revenue on the names I've had in both places, but that can depend upon keywords.

Bottom line ... it depends upon the quality of the names parked.

Hi Kerrijo,

Great to hear you've moved over. I hope that we have a lot of domains that do better for you than elsewhere. Let me know how you get on. If you'd like any help with keywords, then feel free to send an email to parking@namedrive.com and we'll look at optimizing them for you.

Ed

Re: Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

That's true, chumba, they both have different good features. We'll see how it goes. My names aren't too bad for example here some of the better ones:

Hairstyles
WeddingGowns
BridalShop
WorldTies
Casino724
AdultsAdvice
GamblersInfo

Maybe not spectacular but should do better than crap. :greenlaugh:

And thanks for the personal welcome, Ed!

Re: Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

I just moved from sedo - I have experienced a huge difference in revenue! Basically, it seemed like high paying keywords at sedo only generated 5 to 10 cents but when I moved to ND they became a proper portion of what I saw as bids on overture. Very pleased and the increase on some domains were triple.
Great job guys!
Thanks,
Rob

Smile Re: Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

I couldn’t agree more…..

Me being new to this game & having parked my 1 very good generic name on Name Drive for a couple of months I recently experimented with SEDO...... I was back at Name Drive faster than a startled cat as there were no comparisons with the returns.

Name Drive gets my vote & Ed who it seems is always available & willing to help with advice etc.

THANKS Name Drive & Ed!

Re: Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

NameDrive is definitely better than any other parking site I've experienced so far.

Re: Just moved to NAMEDRIVE today

I had links.com on NameDrive for a while then switched to Sedo for a short period of time and then went back to NameDrive. Revenue and CTR is about 30% at NameDrive vs. Sedo. Both are good, but Ed provides better customized service and slightly better PPC which makes the difference.
