Yes, gift number 2 this week is the popunders.

Love them or hate them. I'm sitting on the fence on this. A lot of people have come to us asking for pops and so we've implemented, let's call them popunder Lite for now. We are still taking tentative steps in this region and have teamed up with Casale Media. We are splitting this 50/50. At the moment, as we are a new partner for them, their rev share is fairly low and our pops are paying out at around $1.00-1.20 on a RPM basis rather than a click basis. It's a nice bit of extra cash and it is phase 1. We are looking at doing more interesting things with them in the future.
As far as stats are concerned, due to the rise of Firefox and improving pop blockers, the stats numbers you'll see for the popunders will naturally be lower than the views for your parked domains. We display the views as Casale display them to us.
More things to come on this issue and more things to come later today for new gifrts. More of a prize than a gift, I suppose.

At the moment, it's only on a portfolio basis. As I say, this is pretty much Popunder Lite for now. It's the first phase which will be developed further. As time goes by we will be adding more feeds and more money to it, but this is the beginning of that.
We currently several thousand customers who have been happy to use a popunder-less NameDrive due to our high PPC payouts, so we will be building this out slowly and surely to become a valuable extra revenue source for everyone.

Thanks for the info, Ed. I noticed the pop-under option yesterday and was wondering if an announcement would be going out. Fortunately, your presence on the various boards provides the same service.

At a buck RPM right now, it's not worth the potential aggravation some of my visitors would have towards the pop under, so I'll be watching how this moves into the next phase. And yes. I'm willing to aggravate visitors if the price is right.
