According to a South China Morning Post headline I just noticed, an earthquake somewhere near Taiwan has severed submarine fibre cables.
I've been unable to access ND for two days now - wonder for how long it'll last. sedo is fine. Yahoo works, Google is down (I'm in BKK now).
This must probably be a great thing for Akamai sales reps and others peddling forward proxies and caches...
Ed, if you get a call from someone trying to sell you a forward caching solution with distributed caches deployed in Asia - go for it!
