Up to 64 people can register to play. Cutoff for registering to play is 9:00 pm central time on 3/19. At that point all 64 teams will be placed in a hat and will be picked according to the posting order in the thread.

For example. if we have 10 players then we will allocate all 64 teams based on the posting order in the thread. If we have 64 players than each player will receive one team.

The donation per player is $200 dnf bucks. The winners will be paid out as follows:

75% of total pool to the winner of the championship and 25% to the loser of the championship game.

The posting order only makes a difference when there is less than 64 players. This means to get in quick.

I'm glad it's random, to be honest ... too hard to pick 'em, unless you pick all the top seeds, which never really works out either.

I think they have a shot with no team being really dominant. The problem is that Illinois has not played great on the road. This will be something they will need to overcome.

200 DNF will arrive soon. Imagine if there are 64 of us! 9600 DNF bucks to the winner, 3200 to the runner-up. This could create a shift in power here that could last awhile.

How about this.. list all 64 teams in alphabetical order.

Then after everyone has signed up.. a couple hours before tourney starts ..we run a random number generator 1-64 and the first number is assigned to the first team listed , the second number to the 2nd team so.. THEN you can start handing out teams to people in the order they posted.

random number generators are easy to find..the problem is how can you run one that everyone can watch at the same time?

any java script people understand how we could do this?

Anyways we need some sort of randomizer..

Can the rest of the participants please give their opinion about what bidawinner is proposing.

I am open to any idea, however believe the hat idea is the easiest way to do this without a programmer.

I can back out of the game and not play also. What do you guys want to do. I would like to have some fun as well.
