my problem:
I've got a Hosting for my main domain (Linux, apache (1.3.33 (Unix) and cPanel) where I've got some domains parked. I'd like to redirect parked domains to external url (but Redirections option in my cpanel works only for main domain - cant see redirection possibility for parked domains!).
I'd donate 150 DNF$ to someone who gives me a simple, working instruction on how to do it.
Thanks in advance, hookah

To make a new .htaccess file, open notepad or open up your exsiting .htaccess and add this line(Be sure to keep it all one line):
Redirect oldpage.html http://yournewsite.com/yournewpage.html
then save as .htaccess
Then upload to your index directory

If the redirect will be permanent, this shows how to do a 301 redirect:
http://www.tamingthebeast.net/articl...1-redirect.htm
http://imgshark.com Free image hosting, No account needed, 5mb upload
Thanks guys. Is this the same for domain, i.e. Redirect http//myname.com http://sedoparking.com/myname.com ? I've prepared .htaccess file but looks like it cant be uploaded to my index directory. I try to copy it but it does not work, hmm.
If it's going to be uploaded to myname.com you can use:
Redirect / http://sedoparking.com/myname.com
Is it a CPanel Hosting account? You might be able to log in to your file manager and create a new text file. Name it .htaccess and then edit it. That's how I create my files. Otherwise, you might need to name it SomethingStupid.txt, upload then rename to .htaccess

Thanks, I've donated what I promised for helpful advices
sjaguar13 - thanks but do you have any idea why cant I upload this file using file manager? I copied it with a different name and when I renamed it - it disappeared. Looks like this directory (when index.html is) does not accept .htaccess file, hmm.
On some systems, it hides system files. .htaccess is considered a system file, so it doesn't show up. It should still be there, just not viewable.
