Hello from Metro Detroit

Hello DNF, allow me to introduce myself.

I've been a web developer for other people for a long time, working mainly as programmer and project manager on many auto industry websites - Chevy, Buick, GMC, ACDelco, Delphi, Tower... and many others.

I figure it's time to stake my own claim on some web real estate with both names and development. I'm certainly late to the domain game, but better late than never (I hope).

I enjoy searching for hand-reg gems, and I think I've had a little luck there. I've been reading the boards here for a couple of months, and I think it's time to begin participating, now that I've absorbed at least a little of the wisdom provided here.

Looking forward to learning a lot more with your help.

You worked on their actual sites or "fan" sites? Either way, that's not a bad thing to have on your resume.

Thanks! Yes, their sites, chevrolet_com, buick_com, acdelco_com, towerautomotive_com, delphi_com...etc. I was part of a large team, as you can imagine.

Wow, not bad. Interesting going from cars to Delphi, my favorite programming language.
