Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I've known about this forum for a while, but I just paid for a membership today. I own about 65 domains, mostly .COMs - a few pronouncable 4 and 5-Ls, and some that are keyword-specific. I'm learning about developing them right now, although this is more of a side thing for me, so there's a lot I still have to learn
This seems like a helpful and friendly forum, so I'm excited to be here!
We are now 4-6 in here from DC.
Cheers for now and keep in touch.

Are you a woman or is that a picture of your wife/girlfriend?
Hmm...should I answer that? LOL. I guess it's my fault for putting a picture up. That's me. I figured if I was actively into selling, it might benefit me to have a guy's picture up (because people often don't take women seriously), but since I'm not selling right now, I figured it would be fine.
Big mistake! We don't like women. Take your picture down immediately. This is a man's industry, you know. Shame, Shame, Shame on you for thinking women are cool! HaHaJust kidding. It's about time we had more women around here. Yay!
Ha, thanks! While I'm here, can I ask what the consensus is on using the domain appraisal threads? I know some people are against posting names because of influencing search results, and some of those threads don't get a lot of responses, so what's the best way to get some honest feedback on domain values? I'm trying to decide which ones to keep, and which to drop/auction off.
Thanks! Will do.

Thank you. I've found the Newbies and General Domain forums to be the most responsive. People don't seem to want to comment on appraisals, and a lot of the other areas of the site don't seem that active (except for the sales threads, and even a few of those are dead). There have been a number of people who've been kind enough to answer some questions over PM, though, which I appreciate.![]()
I welcome you also, I have found pretty much the same things. When I post appraisels , I am lucky to get 1 or 2 responses. Seems like some of the features are sort of " clicky " and I am certainly not in the click.
Good luck in your venture, I have been buying domains for almost 10 years now and am just now truly getting aggressive with marketing, ect...
