ops sorry, you`re right again....I`m tired, it`s 3 am here so I `m going to sleep.
But last question before I go to bed is:

ok, match and competition have the same meaning......but what about if we meant match as dating....like the website match.com ?
I guess this is where our non-chinese culture is the limit.

Yes, to get around ambigious translation more research is required but searching on the local versioin of Google can help a lot. Look for clues in the Adwords and Urls. Even open up a few sites. Look at the photos!

If you go to Google.cn and search on the Unicode Adwords should be presented. I don't take any notice of up to 3 but 4 or more I consider good. If you get several pages and sponsored links then the term is very commercial.

There really isn't much by way of hard data at this stage.
