IDN Revenue?

Anyone have any IDn names making decent revenue yet?

You do not need to post the domain, I am just curious what a good conversion would be for an IDN name.

Just Impressions and $ would be great.

I regged 1 yesterday and it had 7 impressions and $0 rev. mostly due to landing pages pulling up unrelated crap.

Again, no name necessary.

I have had several IDNs that made $3-5 per day. I hardly ever keep a name over a month though.

I have several now that avg around 50+ hits per day. Conversion is about avg @ 30% but RPC is usually low due to the foreign traffic.

There are several lurkers around here that hold great IDN portfolios. It's still a great niche with huge potential.

CTR for IDNs will vary drastically from parking provider to parking provider based on the way the are handled and displayed.

Over the last few months Russian IDN have converted at around 11%. Almost all the ads are in English -- I can only expect the conversion will double or more when there's a local ad inventory.

There are a few standouts, like a Japanese IDN converting at 60%, but that's an unusual case.

Yes, Russian is the genre with best traffic and CTR for me as well. In fact I had largely neglected all other IDN to get as many as I could before they started to dry up as well.

I have many asian IDN's (.cn/.jp/.tw), and get clicks
for many of them but the conversion rate is 0%
because i've not yet 'parked' them or else i've linked
the names right through to one of my english language
websites.

Apart from 'generic' words, I also have many 'symbol
based' domains, both typeable and untypeable. A
good example of a typeable I have is: www.¢.com,
which generates up to 50 hits a day (weird that it
is a symbol of currency in the US but they can't
type it; whereas the ¢ symbol is on some other
country keyboards!).

Russian IDNs are the best at generating traffic currently. I have a Russian .net that gets a 33% click-thru rate. Suprisingly the .com doesn't do as well, traffic wise and CTR-wise. Native ads and IE7 will change the entire landscape of IDNs. I think a small trickle of traffic now will translate into good traffic down the road.

Here's some stats for an Arabic.com idn i parked for the last 13 days. It's a pure generic, not trademark or existing/previous website related, so traffic is 100% natural. Hard to believe anyone will actually type in Arabic script + latin .com right??

I have some European IDN's making $10-$15 per day,plus many smaller ones.
CTR usually hovers around 35% overall.Here's a screenshot of my names:

Ic, so you register existing websites? So far, i've only been register non-trademarks and generics - these got traffic, but definitely not more than a dollar a day.

The one in the screenshot is a Spanish adult phrase.However I do have 20 or so IDN versions of existing sites,but not necessarily brands or trademarks.For example the Turkish phrase for "love games" is developed in both .com and .tv,I registered the IDN versions which both have OVT with ext.

Not exacly, for me the best IDNs for now are the ones that get some type-in traffic and are the correct spelling of some word.

I am not sure you could use the word "best" when talking about IDNs. Sure, some european IDNs might have a nice little traffic, but chinese digitalcameras.com (one IDN for both plural and singular), for example, might be worth a lot more at the end. It's not that easy to compare the quaility of IDNs within the same language, let alone across borders and cultures.

Anyway, I think most IDNers would agree that top IDN domains today generate a few dollars per day.
