I got a japanese idn with satisfactory OVT. I parked it on namedrive a week and found there is no visitor up to date!
I am about to doubt if OVT = popularity.

This is normal right now. Type-in traffic on any of these is limited. Once established though, IDNS should follow the same basic principles that English has. High search will also begin receiving high traffic. Right now, for about 95% or more of Japan typing a native character domain won't resolve, many have likely tried this and over time realized domains like that just don't work. They have gotten in a habit based on past experience that NATIVECHARACTERS.com never gives them a website. Expect this to change, and the same HIGH SEARCH = TYPE-IN effect to take place.
Nameyourself, may be you are right, i am ready for the rocket lauches ..

I hate to disagree, but I think using search is more technologically advanced than direct type-in. I think people/countries evolve from type-in to search, I would be surprised to see them move the other direction. I will admit that I could be completely wrong on this.
same situation :(
I parked about 30 IDN at namedrive but got 0 visitors......
Chinese experience would suggest that they will type-in. Namedrive.com, however, doesn't pick up PRC traffic.Originally Posted by Duckinla

Please note that any historic offers over a month old are null and void.
I agree. It's all just a matter of time. I got several Japanese IDNs with big OVT numbers and I see almost no traffic. I am not worried.
I dont believe it I have a over 100 idns regged a little over a month and a few has almost 100 hits to date with revs and most of the traffic comes from the asia region
Very important piece of info there. Who does then?Originally Posted by Rubber Duck
