    Transfers

    Hello,

I have a quick question - how long do I have to wait until I can transfer a newly registered IDN from dynadot.com to another owner? It says transfers can't take place until after 60 days, although an option shows up on my account to transfer to another user (assuming dynadot.com user) - so I'm a little confused...

    Thanks ~

A transfer is moving it to a different registrar, which you can't do within 60 days of a new regisitration. What you are looking to do is simply change owners, which you can do anytime. All the new owner has to do is set up a Dynadot account (free).

With most registrars, a change of ownership is a "push", where the original owner basically sends the domain to the new owner. Dynadot does it like a "pull"; the new owner has to request the domain, then Dynadot sends you an email asking if the change of ownership is OK. Make sure you unlock the domain before the new owner requests it, or they will get an error. Here is the link to initiate the ownership change:

    Hope this helps!

You may also Push at Domainsite.com or Enom which are both popular amongst IDNers.
