Payment wrongfully withheld by RevenueDirect

I participated in Revenue Direct's monetization service program several months ago and was told that ALL 125 of the domain names I had with them were "fail listed by their upstream advertising provider" (which we know is Google). They have withheld a good amount of money owed ($x,xxx). In fact, they haven't paid me a cent. In fact, Google had no problem with my names at all when I switched them to other Google Feeds providers such as Fabulous, Sedo, Namedrive, etc. It was just a lie coming from RevenueDirect.com to not pay me and many others as well.

I have been in the domain industry since 1998 and never had any problems before with any parking companies until RevenueDirect.com including both Yahoo Feeds and Google Feed parking companies. After hearing numerous complaints from others at both the Domain Forums and the Domain Conferences which I attend regarding RevenueDirect scamming people, I felt somebody needs to speak up.

Is anyone else in this same position and owed money by RevenueDirect?

If this has happened to anyone else who would like to join me in doing something about it, please let me know. I think there is strength in numbers if we all demand that RD make good in paying money owed to us. Please pm me if interested.

Thanks, Jim

Dotster still owns them. If you go to the other big domain forum you will see many people got scammed by revenue direct as well. These are reputable domainers who I have known in the industry for many years. In fact, I mentioned this to a Google rep at a domain conference as well and they heard other complaints regarding Revenue Direct. There are great companies out there in the parking industry such as parked.com, smartname.com, ddc.com, namedrive, fabulous, sedo, etc that I have used and never any problems in all the years I have been parking my domains.

However, I decided to test some names with RevenueDirect.com and everything was great until "pay day", than I find out the same thing happens to many others. They string you along thinking everything is great and than "pay day" they don't pay you and come up with some excuse regarding Google which is a TOTAL LIE. After reading numerous posts from others they need to get exposed for the fraud they are.

Get a load of this one....

Last year I opened a RD account, parked a handful of names for a while, they earned around $40+ in that time before being sold. Well I than kind of forgot about the account for a few months but knew I had yet to be paid as I just missed the $50 minimum for a pay out in that time.

So I go to login in recent and NOTHING, username isnt even valid anymore, as if I didnt even exist. I know my password is good its saved with the favorites link but I cannot even request ity again as the user is deleted! They must have saw I wasn't active for a few months and figured screw this kid and stole $40. This just makes me shake my head. So I send a email to support laying out my info/username and even password, demand help etc ( all nicely though ). My email is tracked and I get a receipt when read, firt support reads it, I see where he forwards it to a higher up and guess what, he deletes it without reading it!

Honestly I cant waste more time on it, lesson learned. They ruined their name with me for $40. Congrats!

Wow, Something must of drastically changed for RD, because it was not like this when I was there, which was many years ago. I suspect it started when Google drastically filtered trafficm But it's still no excuse to cheat customers out of money, they must be doing it because they can get away with it.

On February 25, 2009, Sedo purchased RevenueDirect.

Thanks Donny, never realized this, makes more sense now too. That time frame would be one I didnt visit my account, they funnel funds to themselves and vanish, closing my account and thinking what can I do about $40. Nice little severance I bet once do to 100's of people, maybe more.

I cannot get too upset anymore at stuff like this, just believe theyll get what they deserve in some fashion as life plays out. Domain theives still need to fear though, that I will not give up on lol

So they took all your money with nothing to lose.... You cant destroy their rep because they sold out, and if you try to sue them, you'd have to go after Sedo and not them.

This just goes to show how greedy and unscrupulous some parking providers are. It's instances like this that cause so much distrust in the parking industry.

Pretty much yep.

Furthermore I think one day we may hear stories of providers who have ripped of clients regularly.

You should be banned. You are a confirmed scammer. You've been banned at iMonetize, ParkingPanel, RevenueDirect, Bodis, and probably other places. I will also make your life hell, I have all day and nothing better to do.
