Thanks, The name has all the right key words, memorable and it makes sense
I'll be honest with you because personally I've cooked many pigs in the IMU (underground oven) here in Hawaii that I have to say HawaiianLuauPigCooking.com doesn't make any sense. Of course, I know what you're trying to say but it simply doesn't make any sense at all.
Now if it was KaluaPig.com or HawaiianLuau.com then you would get a premium in the Hawaiian language but as is I wish you luck.
Just a lesson in Hawaiian culture.![]()
Hey thanks for your reply!
I have cooked many, probably close to 50 or more! 20 plus years! And here in the states, Idaho, every time I cook one for a wedding, gratuation or other special occasion, people always say that they 'are going to a Hawaiian Luau Pig Cook'! I was going to do a 'how to' video, but have put on back burner. Sure it would be great to have those other domains, but most all are taken!
Hawaiian=Traditional in the ground (imu)
Luau=Gathering, The pig is the main course
Pig= Well you know
Cooking=Is how you do it
Hundreds of people have asked me, "How you you do that?"(Cook the pig)
Here is a great descriptive name that can be a 'How To' site!
My cousins, who are from Hawaii and my dad who taught me how, have said that is a great name!
So, thanks for your opinion!
