    For the record, I made a private offer of $1,700 to the seller which he accepted in a PM:

    " sold... 1,700 via escrow.com buyer pays fees"

    In my opinion, a seller's response is more binding as they have to validate any and all offers. Since the seller posts "Sold" after VirtualT's purchase at BIN, I assume they'd rather make $200 more than honor a seller/buyer handshake.

    Good luck with future sales - I will abstain.
