Also "meta" is a Greek prefix indicating process, a moment in the future etc. in the same sense that "post-" is used in compounds such as "post-production". Since "chron" is derived from (yet again!) the Greek "Chronos" - the personification of time - the domain could literally mean "after all time" or "beyond the future" etc.
