    There are cases where mixed script is accepted.
    Japanese & English letters are ok because there is no chance of confusion.
    Unfortunately I personally think having the kanji for the country & the same name in English isn't a worthwhile combination.

    I hate to say this but I think you wasted at least 20 bucks. These names will never be valuable.

    I don't understand why mixed script domains like this are considered "worthless" by the folks above, given that all IDNs are by definition mixed-script. In other words, all IDNs are currently in the form IDN.ASCII

    I'm not saying those particular domains are great; I'm just curious why the concept is dismissed outright... unless of course the above critics also believe that all Chinese / Japanese IDNs are worthless except for IDN.IDN (which are coming soon?).

    Any thoughts?

    They are IDNs that will never be worth anything. The only ones that will have value will be those that have meaning in their respective language.
