Translation in Thai?
Oh,nice one.
I like IDNs.
It's the verb 'to translate' in Thai. Pretty good. Lots of results.Originally Posted by Wot
Yes, translation is big business and particularly applicable to IDN domains.
Good Luck! Have you been going long?

Well, you do well to have a look at the second tier markets as most primary terms in Chinese and Japanese are highly sold. There are a few resources relating to Thai posted at IDNFs. Any questions just PM me.Originally Posted by Wot

Wot,
Can you advise on how many google.co.th hits can be considered a good buy? Apart from google.co.th, what other good search engines to check? or even better, is there thai version of overture?
No there is not a Thai version of Overture, but the better terms show up on US Overture. I have not looked at Thai for a while. Below is a list of terms with Google that I have invested in but they are not unfortunately all dot coms. Some dot nets might, however, be available. The experts on Thai as far as I know are Gammascalper and Domainguru. Edwin has a list for sale that might include some bargains. I don't understand Thai, so any missing translations would be appreciated!Originally Posted by zibin

Thai overture? don't think so but I am sure somebody will let us know.
Good luck
Same goes for me! I am only 1 day into Thai IDNs. 100,000 is considered good?If that's the case, then there must be still a good number lying around. Then again, isn't 100,000 too low?
I think 100K is a useful benchmark, but if you have a Generic for high value commercial product then I think it is justifiable to go as low as 10K.Originally Posted by zibin

I wonder how saturated is the thai idn market at this moment. Pretty untap, don't u think? Any Thai reading this can comment on whether u think if it will take off?
Well it is a job to know. I came off back from vacation 2 days ago and have sold, $3,200 worth of IDN in that time. All these domains were Russian, which I had never sold before and to my knowledge there weren't really significant previous sells. You just cannot tell when buyers are sellers are going to move to close the gap in their perception of value. Could be next year, might be next week. Once it happens prices inevitably start benchmarking upwards.Originally Posted by zibin

nice one rubber duck...................
heys you guys can really put the heat on......tempting me badly to join the IDN race....will wait for some time...
Well if you can afford to pick up a few bargains in the secondary market later on that is fine, but if you want to make money out of fresh air, you will need to move rather more quickly.Originally Posted by kiviniar

I agree, I was amazed how many "premium" names in Thai had already been snapped up.
The Thai's are techy mad. Similar to most of the asian countries, but an even more sense of self than any of the others. I am sure that given the opportunity thay will fall over themselves to use their own , very unique language. Unfortunately those that want to exploit the use of it on the net will find that the "farangs" got there first in most cases.
Thank god eurid were are involved!!!
Then u better snap up moreOriginally Posted by Wot
