what do you think of this comment from unregistered? maybe he had a different dialect?
普遍 means universal;general.
绿色 or 绿色的 means green
紫色 or 紫色的 means purple
I think the "'s" isn't necessary.
Usually,的---->'s
他的---->his
她的---->her
汤姆的---->Tom's,
In this term,"'s" is necessary.
