Major misconcept about IDNs - IDN is not an extension, it is language.

I think there has been a major misconception about IDNs among even experienced domainers, and possibly even among some IDNers.

IDN is not an extension, it is domain in multiple languages. IDN can be a .COM.

The beauty is that you can invest in mainstream .COM domains with an End user market, not just .Info or .Mobi that hardly anyone uses, except for flipping to another reseller for cheap.

The difference between reseller and end user is in the $$$$.

As simple as this concept sounds, many people can't differentiate the difference between language and extension.

I think many may still not be able to understand what i mean. An example will be better:

    Take for example the following.

    español.com
    espanol.info
    espanol.biz
    espanol.mobi

Google trends comparison español to espanol.
