is just a hiragana in Japanese which has no meaning in it but purely for pronunciation purpose only. It’s just like the letter “A” in English, first alphabetical letter, but definitely not refer to the “A” meaning in English.

Some valuable Japanese idn which I believe worth a flip:

    In hiragana

    わたし.com (watachi means “I”)

    In Kanji Character(Chinese)

    私.com

    Or maybe

    私は.COM(watashiwa)

I am not saying it’s worthless, the good thing is: there are not too many Japanese domainers which means less competition, and there’s definitely some
high-end potential out there. Good luck.

As luck (and design layout) would have it, あ 'A' has arguably the

prime 'click' position on Japanese mobile / cell keypads.

That's a lot of daily clicks.

See Japanese Keypad Image included at bottom of page.

    .

I appreciate the good wishes and return the same.

The big IDN secret regarding Japanese IDN's has been around for about a year now

(IDN insiders have finally noticed this.)

" 80% of Japanese IDN traffic originates from the web group platform known as: 'High End Mobile Devices'. "

If you have any interest in IDN's - rethink the possibilities in terms of simple, basic 'Mobile Device Key Strokes' for starters in any language. (even typos).

[The basic operative IDN question or thinking is now:

How does a Japanese mobile user switch his/her default Japanese keypad into English ?

The answer is: They prefer not to if given the option.]

So IDN's are now positioned as a real time saving necessity for a very large group of mobile users.

(Simplicity Rules the IDN Landscape for now).

Keep your eyes focused on the typing efficiency between IDN domains

and Mobile Key Pad Key Stroke Simplicity for now.

Some friendy advice for DNForum members.

Interested in your opinions. Which Hiragana character will be more valuable or see more traffic?
1- small () or 2 -large (あ) - Both exist on unicode table.

    Hiragana and kanji(漢字) both work well in Japanese, but as long as you don’t do katakana idn domains cause its simply just like “English” in Japanese i.e;

    アメリカ(amelika) = America
    カナダ (Kanada) = Canada
    コーヒー(Kohi) = Coffee

Some of them are still available to reg.
But I guess those are a bid useless in my opinion but I could be wrong.
