Hello

I was just wondering if there is a good market for spanish .com's?

Thanks!

Well, recently, Diamantes dot com sold for $200,000. And Programas dot-com went for $120,000.

And that's just to start. So I would say YES.

The well known spanish domainer who bought a lot of spanish dot com's, including Deportes dot-com (sports dot com in spanish) for $60k a couple of years ago sure knew what he was doing.

Yes, there are some spanish speakers here (like me) (from Latin America or Spain).

Off course there is market for spanish domains, you can check Sedo and there are a lot of spanish domains there. For example, in the next auction you can find until now 2 spanish .com and 3 .es (from Spain) domains:

http://www.sedo.com/search/searchres...ns&language=us

I can give you the url of the main spanish forums, but not sure if I can write them here (don't want to upset any mod or break any rule). If you want to know them, please pm.

Exactly a week after my last post in this thread, I sold the dotcom for the spanish word Vizcaya for $xx,xxx. And that's certainly not the first spanish name I sold for a good chunk.

So yes, Spanish domain names is a very good market.

Do you Spanish domain experts know of a good way to evaluate what a Spanish .com might be worth?

Sometimes you see one that looks good but it's hard to guess, for us non-native -Spanish speakers, if it would bring much on the market. Also hard to tell how much traffic or typeins it might get.

For example, I have

PreciosDePasajes.com
CineDeArte.com
and
BachataVideos.com - this one gets lots of type-ins.

Can you Spanish experts suggest any guidelines for assessing a name, or any tools that you use to estimate frequency, etc.?
Gracias.

Google is pretty helpful. Also, make sure to use FF3 as your browser (so that accents are included and show up correctly on your page)

Bbd-o,
Those are some excellent names, imho.
Where do you folks think is a good place to park Spanish .coms, in terms of getting the most relevant ads?
We've had pretty good success with Fabulous.com.
Would be curious to see how they look when viewed from Spain, Latin America or South America.

Hi,
I'm from Spain and I'm interested in premium 1 word spanish .com domain names (not IDN, please).
If you have something like that, pm me.
If you want, I can give you my opinion about spanish domain names you may own.
Thank you.

yes, it is logical that we want to see the real domains
not the translations

you can show the original domains with transactions
but not the translations without the original domains
