    In Japanese, Typhoon is 台風

What you have 大風.com is pronounced "ookaze" and means "big wind". It isn't valueless, it just doesn't mean typhoon.

    I agree.
a lot of Japanese google results, though...1,260,000. Not to worry, though. I get confused with the kanji at times. both 台 and 大 are pronounced "tai" and "dai". 大 does mean big and pronounced as "tai" and "dai" and it would make sense that by putting these 2 together would mean "big" and "wind", but it isnt. Counfusing? lol!
